Yang Terhormat, Bapak, Ibu Complaint: Very noisy motorbikes knalpot brong Jl Tukad Balian. My villa location: The location for my villa is approx 10 meter west of Jl Tukad Balian, Perum Bali Arum No 1, Sidakarya, Bali 80227. Problem 1: Many motorbike knalpot brong racing along Jl Tukad Balian. Motorbikes are very noisy, >85-90dBA at our house as some are tuned like racing bikes! Motorbikes drive very fast. Sometimes drivers are not wearing helmet! I was almost killed by one motorbike when crossing the road -- as the motorbike was not using lights in the dark! This noise problem happens around rush hours in the morning and late afternoon but also around midnight and especially bad on Saturday nights. I have attached video evidence: 2023-04-12 Motor knalpot brong racing (very loud) Jl Tukad Balian.mp4 Problem 2: Motorbikes knalpot brong are revving engine in workshop Gg Damai off Jl Tukad Balian – around 20m away from our house. Almost every day some people in this workshop are revving their motorbike engines loudly and then drive around in this area very aggressive and making very loud noises and pollution. There seems to be 2 different bikes doing this daily and sometimes also bikes from nearby “Benkels” doing “test drives” in this area. Ref Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan (UU LLAJ) Pasal 285. I ask that local authorities and police to take firm action to stop motorbikes knalpot brong. This antisocial behavior is getting worse and worse and is disturbing so many people! It is easy to find these criminals so it must be an issue with priority why this problem has not been stopped yet? Regards

The complaint has been followed up by Seksi Ketentraman, Ketertiban Umum dan Kebersihan Kecamatan Denpasar Selatan doing coordination with head of Kelurahan Renon and South of Denpasar Police Sector to attention this problem. For your information, about knalpot brong is South of Denpasar Police Sector responsibility.
